Our Story

John Freeman, Mark Freeman and Paul Freeman are all artists who live and work in Edmonton, Alberta.  We are the owners of The Big Pixel Inc. which was incorporated in December of 2003.

John taught painting, drawing and foundation studies at the University of Alberta, Department of Art and Design from 1972 until 2003 and following a phased retirement he left the University in 2006.

Paul graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design in the Spring of 1998 and completed his MFA degree at the University of Alberta in the fall of 2005.  Paul now works as the Artistic Director at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts, an art centre for artists with developmental disabilities in Edmonton

Mark is a photographer who completed studies in photojournalism in Victoria BC in the Spring of 2000.

As artists, we have all made use of digital processes and printing in the creation of our work.
